  3. ScriptSample04 demonstrates how to process fixed-record-length files by setting the Config variables $CfgInpFileType and $CfgRecLen.

ScriptSample04 should be used with the <a href="file://ToDoListFixed.dat">ToDoListFixed.dat</a> sample input file, which has a fixed record length of 80 characters. If you view this file with the built-in file viewer, its fixed-record-length format can be made apparent by switching the Display Width combo box between 80 characters and another value, such as 100.
